Phonics Catch-up Shop

I qualified as a Primary School teacher in 1992 and have taught across the primary age range both full-time, part-time and supply during this time. For the last five years I have been an intervention teacher which resulted in producing many resources to support primary pupils with their phonics, reading, early writing and basic numeracy. So take a browse, you may find something useful especially for pupils who are needing to do a phonics catch-up following this pandemic.

100 High Frequency Words

A checklist/assessment sheet to record whether pupils can read and spell the first 100 high frequency words from the DFE Letters and Sounds. The words are colour coded to represent the phase within Letters and Sounds. It will highlight/inform the teacher of the words that an individual pupil needs to improve and work on within their reading, writing and spelling. A great sheet to target high frequency word work.
